Acer palmatum ‘Jesca’ is a striking Japanese maple introduction by Dutch nurseryman Dick van der Maat, known for developing unique, color-shifting cultivars. This upright tree reaches approximately 6–8 ft in 10 years, forming a balanced, multi-branched structure with excellent garden presence. In spring, ‘Jesca’ leafs out in vibrant red tones, transitioning into a lively mix of lime green with red highlights in summer, creating a dynamic, multi-colored effect throughout the growing season. By fall, the foliage shifts again into warm oranges and yellows, offering a soft yet brilliant autumn display.
