'Kennedale Sunset’ is selection by our friends at Metro Maples in Fort Worth, Texas. The colors of this red Japanese maple is quite bright in the fall. The habit is more spreading. ‘Kennedale Sunset’ may reach 5-6 ft in height and width in 10 years. Make sure to give ‘Kennedale Sunset’ protection from the hot afternoon sun.
