Picea pungens 'Pali' is very small and extremely compact. 'Pali' may reach 1.5 ft in height and width in 10 years. Picea pungens 'Pali' originated as a chance seedling in the 1970's by Pal Lengyel in Hungary. 'Pali' is great for containers, conifer troughes, and fairy gardens.
